Our Place Camelon Survey

Our Place is an initiative from the Big Lottery Fund which has been operating in Camelon for nearly 4 years. It aims to empower local people and organisations in the local community to make Camelon a better place to live and work.

They have launched a short online survey to find out what local people think about the Our Place project in Camelon.

Volunteer Scotland Disclosure and PVG Online Training Sessions

In January, February and March, Volunteer Scotland is holding regular, short online training courses on all aspects of their Disclosure Services, aiming to provide information the various aspects of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme that attendees may need for their role in their voluntary organisation. These sessions are free for voluntary organisations; however there are charges for non-attendance of booked sessions.

Neighbourhood Networks Community Living Worker Vacancies

Neighbourhood Networks is currently recruiting for 3 Community Living Workers, based in the Grangemouth/Bo’ness, Denny, and Falkirk/Larbert areas. The positions are 16 hours per week, with a wage of £10.01 per hour (£19,519.50 (pro-rata) per annum). The deadline for applications is 12pm on Monday 29th January.

Forth Valley COVID-19 Partnership: Funding Programme Open

The Forth Valley COVID-19 Partnership has launched a new grants programme, distributing funds to support communities and people affected by COVID-19 outside of hospital. The new Community Partnership Grants Programme will distribute £126,000 of local grants, and is open to any registered charity, community interest company (CIC), community or voluntary group with a bank account delivering services in the Forth Valley area. The closing date for Phase One is Monday 1st February.
