The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) has produced an online 5 minute video about the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).
SCIOs are a legal form unique to Scottish charities. They are able to enter into contracts, employ staff, incur debts, own property, sue and be sued. This legal form also provides a high degree of protection against liability.
