The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) are look for volunteers to help people with sight loss explore the options of getting online.
Could you share your knowledge and enthusiasm to help people engage with technology?
Volunteers will show people how to use a computer, tablet or smart phone to get online, deliver group training and demonstrations and visit people in their home to help them with basic online skills.
What you will be doing?
Showing people different options for getting online. Setting up devices and helping people with sight loss get online. Provide training on basic online skills.
What skills and experience are needed?
- Ability to find innovative solutions
- An interest in technology innovations
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient approach to training
This opportunity takes place across the Falkirk District, with travel expenses being paid. RNIB can be completely flexible around the volunteer. This is open to those aged 18 and over.
