NHS Forth Valley’s Community Grants Scheme will close to new applications in December.
Grants of up to £500 are available until then to support local activities reducing health inequalities and improving mental health. Applications are particularly welcomed from groups which aim to support people around:
- fuel poverty or cost of living crisis
- domestic abuse
- homelessness
- ethnic minority communities and other underrepresented groups (eg. LGBTQ)
- refugees
- Gypsy, Romani, and Travelling (GRT) communities
- living with a disability
- substance use (eg. based around Scottish Government’s Tobacco Control Strategy in achieving the 2034 target of a smoking population of less than 5%)
NHS Forth Valley will stop processing applications in mid-late December.
