A new £800,000 Fund is available to encourage physical activity among Scotland’s least active people.
The new Legacy 2014 Physical Activity Fund will make grants of up to £70,000 available to existing projects that are part of a Physical Activity Strategy Group of a Community Planning Partnership (CPP). These are partnerships that bring public agencies together with the community to plan and deliver services.
Applications must be endorsed by the relevant CPP with only one application from each accepted. The group must be able to demonstrate that they are already making a difference to activity levels at a local level.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 20th August 2015.
