We are delighted to announce that we are relaunching our Falkirk Third Sector Forums and Networks, after a period of paring these back to focus on our Third Sector COVID-19 Response Forum, and meet the needs of the sector and communities throughout the pandemic.
The threat of COVID-19 itself has subsided, but its legacy lives on in our communities through an increase in poverty, unemployment, poor mental health and wellbeing, and other local challenges. We believe that now is the time to diversify our Forums and Networks to make space for more targeted and in-depth discussion, planning and organising as we seek to tackle these issues as a sector, and with our partners.
You can read more about the new Forums and Networks, our plans for the future, and third sector representation post-COVID-19 in Falkirk, on the new blog post from our Partnership Manager, Lynsey Hansford (linked for your convenience).
