Neighbourhood Networks supports vulnerable adults to live an active, healthy life safely within their own homes and be fully involved within their local communities. They work with people who may be isolated or at risk of isolation within their communities (as a result of a learning disability, poor mental health, a physical disability, sensory impairment or a variety of other circumstances).
They are currently recruiting a Peer Support Worker. The position is 16 hours per week, with a wage of £9.44 per hour, based in Denny and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the development of local networks, ensuring members are supported to achieve positive life outcomes and lead the life they choose.
Applicants should be creative, motivated and passionate, and willing to work towards a SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care within a specified timeframe. Knowledge of local opportunities and resources will be essential. Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) membership will be provided.
