Clouds End CIC, a social enterprise working with people with hoarding issues in the UK, has organised a series of free afternoon online seminars during National Hoarding Awareness Week:
- Monday 15th May, 3pm – 4:30pm: “Hoarded Homes – are they a Fire Risk?”, with Alan Swift, a retired firefighter
- Tuesday 16th May, 3pm – 4:30pm: “The Hoarded Brain”, with Sam Wainman, Psychologist and PhD Researcher at Clouds End
- Wednesday 17th May, 3pm – 4:30pm: “Resilience and Hoarding” by Sharon McLoughlin, associate at Clouds End
- Thursday 18th May, 3pm – 4:30pm: “Approaches to Trauma Informed Practice with People who Hoard”, Kayley Hyman, Holistic Hoarding
- Friday 19th May, 3pm – 4:30pm: “Open Forum – Let’s talk about Hoarding – what are your new experiences and approaches?”, led by Heather Matuozzo, founder and director of Clouds End
National Hoarding Awareness Week takes place Tuesday 16th May – Saturday 20th May, and is an awareness campaign across the political, health and social care communities designed to raise awareness of the risks associated with hoarding.
