Parent Club has launched a new campaign to help families who were already struggling, and are now feeling completely overwhelmed by additional pressures brought on by the current economic crisis.
The campaign raises awareness of the support for families available on the Parent Club website, including advice, information on available benefits and going back to work (or changing careers), and links to trusted advisors from the Money Talk Team, and Local Authority Employment advisors, who offer free confidential advice to those with money or employment worries.
The campaign follows on from Scottish Government’s ongoing Cost of Living Support campaign launched last autumn, and is aimed at low income families, aiming to guide them to financial and employment support which is tailored to their situation.
The campaign includes digital, TV, and radio coverage, social media activity and website advertising.
An online support hub (linked for your convenience) for families is also available, with guides to benefits, grants and support available, and money saving tips and advice, with practical ideas for everyday savings and income boosts.
Campaign resources are available to view or download from the Scottish Government marketing resource centre, for partners, groups and organisations, and anyone who wishes to share them.
