Falkirk Council has launched the new Local Development Plan (LDP3), which aims to guide growth and change in Falkirk District’s communities into the period beyond 2026.
The LDP3 will indicate where new development should or should not take place, what infrastructure is needed to support growth, and how environment and greenspace across Falkirk can be improved.
As part of this first stage of the Plan, Falkirk Council is looking for feedback from people who live or work in Falkirk’s different communities, telling them what is good about their local area, and what could be improved. This will help inform the Evidence Report, which the new Plan will be based on.
There are a number of different surveys for different groups of people, in order to gather as many views as possible:
- Tell Us About Your Place survey
- Children’s survey
- Young Person’s survey
- Organisations and Businesses (including third sector) survey
The deadline for responses to all surveys is Friday 30th June.
