The Still Going Project is looking for research participants across Scotland.
The project is a collaboration between the University of Strathclyde and ADL Smartcare Ltd. The project uses the LifeCurveTM app (known as Living Well Falkirk locally) to help people keep active and healthy in later life, based on research which says there is a set order where people lose the ability to do everyday activities as they age.
People’s position and trajectory on the LifeCurveTM can change, helping to regain functional ability and greater independence. The app gives tasks and advice about how to do this.
To take part in the research, people only need to download the LifeCurveTM (Living Well Falkirk) app for free from any Apple or Android device, and connect to the STILL Going Project as a partner.
As part of the research, the university and ADL Smartcare can offer a support service in Scotland to users, or anyone who may be helping someone else use the app.
