Link Academy has announced its upcoming 10 week programmes for young people, starting this January in Falkirk:
- Link Academy’s Moving On Up Programme
- Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am – 3pm (with one to one sessions taking place on Fridays)
Moving on Up is a personal development programme for young people to work on skills for life. During the programme, young people will work on confidence building through mental health and wellbeing workshops, volunteering opportunities and completing SCQF qualifications. Moving On Up is designed for young people aged 16 – 19 years old, offering participants the opportunity to gain new skills, build confidence, explore their future goals, and connect with others.

- Link Academy’s Creative Connections Programme
- Mondays and Tuesdays, 10am – 3pm
Creative Connections is designed for young people aged 16 – 25 years old, offering participants the opportunity to build their confidence and connect with others. Young people will develop skills to manage stress and anxiety through mental health and wellbeing workshops, creative activities, and completing SCQF qualifications.

Both programmes will take place at Link Academy, Mckinven House, George Street, Falkirk, FK2 7EY. These programmes are free to attend, and lunches and refreshments are provided. Please note that participants must be able to travel independently to and from the centres each day, although there is a small budget to reimburse bus fares.
Referrals will be added to a waiting list, and Link Academy will contact young people to arrange an initial assessment. The team is happy to discuss individual referrals, should anyone require more information.
