The review of the Scottish Governance Code for the Third Sector closes TODAY, Friday 5th August.
Via an online survey, Scotland’s Third Sector Governance Forum is seeking views from all third sector organisations, whether they have or have not used the Code in their organisation, in order to inform recommended improvements for a refreshed Code.
The Code is a statement of best practice, developed by the Forum in 2018, following consultation with over 250 people and organisations. It is intended for the governing bodies of third sector organisations in Scotland (including charities, voluntary and community groups, and social enterprises). It reflects and celebrates the good practice that exists in the third sector and provides a standard all third sector organisations should aim for.
Third sector organisations, of all forms, operating across Scotland are encouraged to take part in the consultation.
