Keep Scotland Beautiful (KSB) is offering free support to help communities across Scotland develop their own Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP), with the deadline for applications 5pm on Friday 12th November.
Successful applicants will receive support from KSB’s community climate facilitator, to help their community develop its own unique plan to address the climate emergency. KSB will also highlight ideas from across Scotland and beyond as inspiration, and signpost to potential funding and further technical advice.
Communities should have a clear geographical boundary and strong sense of identity (such as a school catchment area, a town, or a few neighbourhoods), with a core group representing a range of community interests to take ownership of the process. Communities, or at least the core group, should be able to take part in approximately 7 online meetings of around 1.5 hours each.
For further information, including all eligibility criteria, experiences of 2 communities who have been through the process before, and how to apply, please visit the KSB website.
