The Kelvin Valley & Falkirk LEADER programme Local Action Group (LAG) is looking for people with experience of economic and community development in rural parts of East Dumbartonshire, North Lanarkshire and Falkirk to join their board.
The LAG works as a partnership, with different members bringing together a wide range of different knowledge, skills and experience. In particular, they are looking for more representation from active community representatives, small businesses, social enterprises, land managers, farmers and local agencies. However, they don’t expect individual members to bring all of the knowledge and skills required.
To become a board member, an application form and skills checklist must be completed and submitted to Amparo EcheniqueDevelopment Officer for the LEADER programme.
The deadline for applications is Friday 2nd September; the LAG aims to inform all applicants of their outcome by the end of September.
To submit your application, please contact Amparo Echenique by email: amparo.echenique@falkirk.gov.uk
Alternatively, applications can be posted to the address on the application form.
For further information, please contact Amparo Echenique at the above address, or visit the Kelvin Valley & Falkirk LEADER programme website.
