The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) is holding an “Improving Your Bid Score” workshop on Wednesday 18th April, 10am – 1pm at the Falkirk Business Hub, 45 Vicar Street, Falkirk, FK1 1LL, with registration opening at 9:30am.
The Level 2 (Intermediate) workshop aims to assist attendees in achieving the highest possible scores in their tender bids, while providing insight into buyers’ needs and expectations.
Key topics will include
- understanding the client
- finding information (including Freedom of Information requests)
- asking questions
- bid writing skills
- pricing your bid
- award criteria and weightings
- quality versus cost
- tips on writing a winning bid
The workshop is for those with a good understanding of public sector procurement, including those who have completed a Level 1 workshop or equivalent.
