Home-Start Falkirk is looking for Parent + Family Support volunteers, as well as Parent + Toddler Group Volunteers!

Parent + Family Support Volunteers will be matched with a parent or family to provide support during home visits, helping to:

provide social support
combat loneliness
mentor
help parents plan and manage competing priorities (housework, play, bonding, self-care, health)
support parents to gain confidence and build self-worth

Parent + Toddler Group Volunteers will support Home-Start facilitators at groups in Bo’ness, Denny, Grangemouth or Falkirk to:

run arts and crafts activities
encourage parents and children to play and bond
organise outside agencies to deliver talks

If you can spare 2 – 4 hours a week, have parenting experience or have supported parents and families, this could be the opportunity for you!
