Whether from a household, community or business perspective, everyone needs and uses energy. And we all know resource is scare, both in terms of energy itself, and the ability to pay for this resource, which can in turn prove a drain on personal energy levels and resilience.
Home Energy Scotland is organising a free one-day conference on Wednesday 28th September 2016 at the Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow, G40 3HG.
The conference will showcase the range of support services available to help householders reduce their energy bills and make their homes more affordable to heat. There will also be advice to help businesses save money, improve their environmental performance, and deliver on corporate objectives.
Guest speakers involved in tackling poverty, inequalities and climate change will be present, including Laurie Russell, Chief Executive of leading social enterprise the Wise Group, and Jane Beresford, Health Improvement Lead, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The event will also include interactive workshops and opportunities to network.
Anyone involved in the private, public or third sector, or the private rented sector, along with those dealing with health, welfare or the environment in their communities, is invited to attend this free event.
