HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is holding a series of webinars on the changes to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (which cam into force at the start of July).
Under these changes, employers will be able to bring previously furloughed employees back to work part-time, and decide the hours and shift patterns they work to suit the business’ needs. From Saturday 1st August, employers will be asked to contribute towards wage costs.
The “Extension to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and Flexible Furloughing” webinar takes place at various dates and times from Tuesday 7th July, and will cover the scheme’s changes, flexible furloughing, claim periods and key dates.
Further dates have also been added to the “Coronavirus COVID-19 Statutory Sick Pay Rebate Scheme” webinars, which covers who can claim, and who for, how to make a claim, and what people may be entitled to, amongst others.
