Falkirk Community Trust Arts are recruiting volunteers for the Festival of Silent Cinema (HippFest), which runs Wednesday 22nd – Sunday 26th March at the Hippodrome cinema, and various other venues across Bo’ness.
Arguably one of Scotland’s most prestigious and popular film festivals, the HippFest takes place in Scotland’s oldest purpose-built cinema, the Hippodrome in Bo’ness. HippFest’s programme is packed full of silent films, with live musical accompaniment in the cinema. The festival team aims to create the warm and friendly atmosphere HippFest has become known for, and volunteers play an important part in this.
Volunteers will experience a variety of roles whilst helping at the busy festival, and will meet people, assist the public and learn new skills.
All volunteers receive a HippFest t-shirt, a travel allowance, snacks and drinks and a Festival Pass, which gives entry to all events.
