Action on Hearing Loss (AOHL) Scotland’s “Hear to Inform & Connect” project aims to ensure older people feel better informed about how to manage their hearing loss and better connect with their local communities, families and friends.
“Hear to Inform & Connect” works to inform those who may be isolated, from a diverse range of backgrounds, in order to make hearing loss information accessible to everyone.
The project supports D/deaf people, people with hearing loss, or who cares for someone with hearing loss, who are:
- located in rural areas
- over 50 years old
- looking for D/deaf awareness information
- living in care settings
- looking for information sessions or equipment information
The project team are able to visit local community and care settings, and have a range of translated resources available.
