The Scottish Government’s new Healthier Scotland Engagement Fund is now open for applications for projects focused on improving the health of the Scottish population and the future of health and social care services in Scotland.
Small voluntary organisations and community groups in can apply for grants of up to £500 to run an event or engagement activity, in order to gather the views of people who would not normally participate in a consultation of this nature.
Priority for funding will be given to groups that have an income under £100,000, or for engagement activities which involve groups that are seldom heard from, or are hard to reach.
Discussions and engagement activities should gather people’s views on Creating a Healthier Scotland, and should aim to answer the following questions:
- What support do we need in Scotland to live healthier lives?
- What areas of health and social care matter most to you?
- Thinking about the future of health and social care services, where should our focus be?
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 11 December 2015. Discussions and engagement activity should take place before the 15th February 2016
