Disability Equality Scotland, in partnership with Police Scotland, Transport Scotland and South East of Scotland Transport Partnership (SEStran), are holding a Hate Crime on Public Transport event on Thursday 21st June, 10:45am – 3pm at New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT.
Hate crime remains an issue on public transport for people from equalities groups. This event will bring together people who experience hate crime, other equality organisations and transport providers to discuss hate crime on public transport, discussing steps to take in order to combat it, and the potential for a Hate Crime Charter.
