GWT Free Online Training Modules

Posted on December 17, 2020

Generations Working Together (GWT) has a series of online training modules on intergenerational practice available, available at any time and free for GWT members.

GWT membership is free for everyone living in Scotland, and for international students.

Current modules include:

  • “What is Intergenerational Work?”

This module provides an opportunity for people of all ages to increase their knowledge and understanding around what intergenerational work is, what it isn’t and what the benefits are for those involved. The module should take around 2.5 – 3 hours to complete.

  • “Overcoming Ageism Through an Intergenerational Lens”

Through this module, people of all ages can investigate the relationships between intergenerational practice and ageism. The course should take around 3 – 4 hours to complete.

Additionally, a new module, “Planning Intergenerational Solutions”, launches in January, with other modules planned for the future.

For further information, including how to book your place on any module, or to join GWT as a member, please visit the GWT website.
