Grants for Remembrance Day Installations

Posted on June 22, 2018

The deadline for applications to There But Not There’s (TBNT) Remembrance Day Installations micro-grants is Saturday 30th June.

Amounts of up to £500 are available for silhouette installations to support organisations’ Remembrance Day activities for the centenary of the First World War, allowing communities to remember and commemorate by accessing their silhouettes for benches and chairs free of charge.  These silhouettes can be placed within community halls, places of worship and places of education

Organisations can apply for an award to purchase up to 10 silhouettes, and, as part of the award, will need to hold a self-funded event to bring their local community together.

To apply, organisations will need to be:

  • a charity
  • a Community Interest Company (CIC)
  • a school
  • a place of worship
  • an Armed Forces base
  • a chapel or other place of worship, or multi-faith facility within a hospital or Armed Forces base, where people would not otherwise be able to engage in remembrance and engagement activity without financial resources
  • a community organisation with a constitution and a community space (Including Parish Councils)

To apply, or for further information, please visit the TBNT website.
