Link Living are hosting Google Digital Garage training sessions on Friday 30th November at their Link Academy, McKinven House, George Street, Falkirk, FK2 7EY.
The first session is titled “Stay Safe Online”, running 9:30am – 10:30am. Attendees can learn cyber safety basics and discover some simple steps to stay safe online. This session is suited to computer, smartphone or tablet users who are keen to learn how to keep themselves and their personal data safe.
The second session is titled “Presentations at Work”, and runs 10:45am –12:15pm. This session aims to help attendees polish their presentation skills and feel more confident speaking to audiences, and is suited to those who wish to improve their presentations skills, receiving best practice tips on how to make their presentation look good.
The final session is “Self-promotion Skills”, taking place 12:30pm – 2pm. Attendees will learn about #IamRemarkable, a Google initiative to empower women and under-represented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond. This session is suited to those who wish to discover the importance of self-promotion in their careers and learn how to start developing this skill.
