Go Forth and Clyde is the new registered charity and company limited by guarantee that will take forward Re-Union Canal Boats activities in Falkirk and grow into a well-respected independent social enterprise that uses the Forth and Clyde canal as a catalyst for the social, economic, and environmental improvement of the health and well-being and lives of local people.
Go Forth and Clyde is now recruiting a Development Manager to take the new organisation forward. This role includes, managing and supporting volunteers and participants, funding and finance duties and developing and managing a range of water and towpath based activities including their lock keeping programme. If you have a passion for the Forth and Clyde Canal and seeing it used to benefit local communities, they would like to hear from you. You will have an interest in seeing the canal used in lots of different ways, making it accessible to as many people as possible. You may be interested in developing learning opportunities, creating volunteering opportunities, supporting canal side activities for recreation, environmental awareness, physical and mental health improvement, and most of all bringing people together.
