Befriending Networks is Scotland’s network for befriending organisations, providing training, events, and resources for its members. The team also coordinates Befriending Week, an annual campaign running 1 – 7 November which celebrates and raises awareness of befriending and the impact this meaningful connection has on people and communities.
Befriending Networks is holding a Get Ready for Befriending Week session on Wednesday 19 August 2026, 1pm – 2:15pm, via Zoom. The free session is designed to help attendees plan their Befriending Week activities, including looking at the different ways to take part in the campaign, and resources such as a planning worksheet. In line with this year’s theme of “Supporting Each Other Through Meaningful Connections”, the session will also provide opportunities to connect with peers and share ideas.
