The Getting There: Meadowbank project is about exploring ways in which the lives of people living in the pilot area of the Meadowbank Health Centre, Polmont catchment area can be made easier, whilst empowering the communities to help themselves. CVS Falkirk are working with a number of partners from the public, private and third sectors in Falkirk, along with IRISS (the Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services) on this project.
We have already established a strategy group to help guide and inform this engagement project, and are looking to add new members to join this group, which next meets on Wednesday 16th March 2016 at the CVS Falkirk office in Callendar Business Park.
The ultimate aim of the project is to improve the lives of people living in the pilot area, in potential ways such as better transport links, improving access to services and amenities or bringing communities together to help each other.
If you are interested in learning more about the project or joining the strategy group, please contact David Gardener, Development Officer – Policy, Research and Community Planning, by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01324 692010.
