Gardening Team Leader Volunteers

Forth Environment Link in Falkirk are looking for Gardening Team Leader Volunteers. These volunteers will be enthusiastic, experienced gardeners who would like to work with a team, sharing their knowledge and leading in the creation of a community kitchen garden.

The garden is located at FEL’s Falkirk office, 199A – 203 High Street, Falkirk, FK1 1DU. There are currently no fixed times for this volunteering role.

Volunteer Scotland Disclosure and PVG Online Training Sessions

In January, February and March, Volunteer Scotland is holding regular, short online training courses on all aspects of their Disclosure Services, aiming to provide information the various aspects of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme that attendees may need for their role in their voluntary organisation. These sessions are free for voluntary organisations; however there are charges for non-attendance of booked sessions.

Neighbourhood Networks is currently recruiting for 3 Community Living Workers, based in the Grangemouth/Bo’ness, Denny, and Falkirk/Larbert areas. The positions are 16 hours per week, with a wage of £10.01 per hour (£19,519.50 (pro-rata) per annum). The deadline for applications is 12pm on Monday 29th January.

Forth Valley COVID-19 Partnership: Funding Programme Open

The Forth Valley COVID-19 Partnership has launched a new grants programme, distributing funds to support communities and people affected by COVID-19 outside of hospital. The new Community Partnership Grants Programme will distribute £126,000 of local grants, and is open to any registered charity, community interest company (CIC), community or voluntary group with a bank account delivering services in the Forth Valley area. The closing date for Phase One is Monday 1st February.
