Forth Valley Social Enterprise Network (FVSEN) has launched its new, online directory of social enterprises across the Forth Valley area, in time for the festive period.
The directory was created in response to the value in buying local goods that come with community, social and environmental benefits, and on social enterprises, highlighted by the pandemic.
Supported by the teams at CVS Falkirk, Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSI) and Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) (the local Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs) for Forth Valley), the directory is easy to use, and completely free.
There are already almost a hundred members listed on the directory, who all trade locally providing everything from gifts to professional services, care services and venue hire. The directory features a list of categories and embedded key words aimed at making searching easy. There are maps, directions, and links to websites and social media channels within each entry, along with photos of their work.
The new directory is open to new entries from social enterprises operating in Clackmannanshire, Stirling or Falkirk, or across Forth Valley, which have an asset lock constitution and no private gain. Each social enterprise will become a member of their local TSI, as well as joining FVSEN and the directory.
