Following a busy and energetic 3 days of community workshops, Ice Cream architecture who hosted the Denny Charrette at the end of May, have prepared Project Plans which were developed by local people during the workshops.
In order to kick start this and to further test and develop those project plans, £10,000 has been secured to support collaborative community led projects arising from the Charrette funded through the Falck Renewables Earlsburn Community Fund which is administered by Foundation Scotland.
Anyone in Denny and District (regardless of whether you were involved in the Charrette) is encouraged to use the following project plans as inspiration to apply to this fund (Click on the headings bellow for full details):
Short Term Projects
Medium Term Projects
Long Term Projects
All further details including applications forms for funding can be found on the Ice Cream Architecture website
The deadline is 31st July at 5pm. (Due to timescales, Ice cream architecture are happy to accept a brief outline and statement of interest on the application form which can be followed up in August).
If you are really interested but cannot make the deadline please contact Hannah at Ice cream architecture to discuss on: 0141 2481546 or 07972675095. Hannah is also happy to offer support with applications and ideas.
