The Fund to Leave is available across Scotland, with the deadline for applications approaching on Tuesday 30 June 2026.

The fund offers women based in Scotland up to £1,000 for essentials to support the costs of leaving, planning to leave, or remaining apart from an abusive relationship. This might include costs related to moving home, or increasing safety to enable a woman to remain in her own home.

The exact amount will be based on their immediate and essential needs, the number of children or dependants they care for, their housing situation and location, and any other relevant safety or support needs.

The aim of this limited £1.5 million fund is to give women and children more choices and more control. It is funded by Scottish Government, and co-ordinated by Scottish Women’s Aid.
