The Citizens Rights Project (CRP) has organised a FREE webinar on the latest issues experienced by EU citizens in Scotland when applying to the EU Settlement Scheme (ESS) or accessing, updating, and proving their migration status.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday 7th December at 3pm, via Zoom.
Although the ESS deadline has passed, many people are still experiencing issues with the scheme; cases are often more complex.
The webinar will look at what is next for EU citizens in Scotland, why it is important to continue talking about the ESS, and what people can do to help CRP raise awareness about it and support people affected.
It is aimed at case and frontline workers in consulates, local authorities, third sector and community organisations, and any individuals providing support and services to people who might be facing barriers when applying to the scheme or accessing their migrant status.
Key points will include (amongst others):
- a brief reminder about the EU Settlement Scheme and its relevance
- late applications to the scheme
- how to access, update and prove the digital status
- joining family members
- switching from pre-settled to settled
- proving the right to work
