Free Training Webinar Courses for Businesses

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) is offering FREE online training “webinar” courses for businesses throughout the year.

Some of the courses are divided into 3 modules lasting around 45 minutes each. These courses are also delivered in the traditional classroom style training in your area lasting 2.5 hours.

SDP offers free expert procurement training, support and information to help businesses win public sector contracts, grow and develop.

KSC Support Workers Vacancies: May 2020

Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) is currently recruiting support workers. The position is £9.50 – £9.75 per hour (plus £74.40 per sleepover shift), with various shift patterns, based in Falkirk and the surrounding areas. Minimum hour contracts of 20, 25 and 30 hours are available. The deadline for applications is 12pm on Monday 1st June.

Denny and District Community Fund: Deadline Approaching

The latest round of the Denny and District Community fund will close on Friday 19th June. Administered by Foundation Scotland, the fund provides grants to support charitable activities which: enhance quality of life for local residents, contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful, and sustainable communities, and promote community spirit and encourage community activity.

SCDC “Supporting Communities Safely” Page Updated

The Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) has updated their “Supporting Communities Safely” COVID-19 guidance page. The page, which has been checked for accuracy by Public Health Scotland, provides advice on how to reduce risk and staying safe while helping people and local communities.
