The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT), in partnership with property advice charity the Ethical Property Foundation, has published a FREE property webinar for voluntary and third sector groups and organisations in Scotland.
“Create & Manage A Successful Property Budget for your Voluntary Organisation” is available to view at any time through the CRT Connect platform and Youtube (both linked for your convenience), along with the webinar information pack. The webinar covers the basics of putting together realistic budgets for both day to day management and for a small property budget.

All participants will get links to a list of resources and downloads with budget templates and tips for managing suppliers.
The webinar is designed to help groups and organisations:
- understand what they need from their property, so they can make informed decisions about annual budgeting needs
- identifying and exploiting opportunities to generate income
- source and manage suppliers, ask for quotes, and negotiate deals
- recognise and mitigate risk when putting together a property budget
- assess whether money can be saved on their budget
- understand the principles of budgeting effective maintenance
- avoid common budgeting mistakes
