The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) are running 3 free training days across Forth Valley to provide businesses with essential knowledge when bidding for tenders with public bodies.
Within Forth Valley, there are several public bodies that buy, providing significant opportunities to tender for public sector contracts for goods and services, including the local authorities.
Booking is now open on all training, listed below:
- “Seeking Feedback and Improving Your Bid” on Wednesday 19th April, 10am – 1pm in Alloa, which is for experienced bidders, and will explain an organisation’s rights as a bidder, and how to learn from successful and unsuccessful bids
- “The Supplier’s Role in Contract Relationship Management” on Friday 9th June, 10am – 1pm in Stirling, which explains how to successfully deliver on contracts, what to do when things go wrong, and how organisations can give themselves the best chance of winning again when it is re-tendered
- “Introduction to Working with the Public Sector” on Monday 17th July, 10am – 1pm in Stirling, and introductory module for anyone new to bidding, providing an overview of the public sector marketplace in Scotland and beyond
