The New Beginnings Fund, provided by Foundation Scotland, will recognise and support local groups working to integrate refugees and asylum seekers into local communities.
The Fund operates on the principle that early integration helps dispel tensions and prevent misconceptions on both sides.
The Fund aims to support those organisations that offer guidance, counselling, community integration and welcoming activities to vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers, and can demonstrate there has been an increase in the demand for their services.
Single organisations seeking up to £10,000 can apply through the New Beginnings Fund’s online application form
Groups seeking a multiple partner grant of up to £20,000 should email Linda Phillips at linda@foundationscotland.org.uk
The application deadline is Tuesday 29th March.
