Supporting, developing and representing community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and volunteering
The Wellbeing Card Game has been designed in partnership between Children in Scotland and Barnardo’s Scotland to help ensure community groups, clubs, societies and other organisations across Scotland are getting it right for every child, providing a range of activities and support that will make a positive contribution to their wellbeing.
Using the SHANARRI wellbeing indicators (Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible & Included), the games helps organisations to Understand how their work contributes to the wellbeing of children and young people; Explain to others how their organisation and staff support the wellbeing of children and young people; Plan to improve how an organisation and its staff support children’s and young people’s wellbeing; and Know where to go for further information.
The game is free to download and use, and comes with an introduction leaflet that gives a little background and instructions on how to play the game. To download the resources, please visit the Children in Scotland website.
