Forth Valley Migrant Support Network is a local, independent grass-roots organisation dedicated to helping migrants in ways that matter to them.
The organisation was established in October 2009 to give advocacy support and practical assistance, to promote and represent new migrant workers, their families and people whose first language is not English. The group was born out of the frustrations faced by migrant workers using existing services to fulfil their ambitions of living and working in Scotland.
Forth Valley Migrant Support are looking for volunteers to support them with admin and office duties. Volunteers can also get involved with developing further strategies in response to Brexit casework.
This is an opportunity to volunteer in an informal environment, while taking forward some major issues that affect not only the migrant community but also the local community as well.
For further information regarding this opportunity, please contact the Volunteer Team by phone: 01324 692000, or email: info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
