Forth Valley Disabilities Club Nights, Enable Falkirk and Thera (Scotland) have announced the 2019 dates for their monthly Club Night Experiences, taking place 7pm – 10:30pm at City Nightclub, 8 – 12 Princess Street, Falkirk, FK1 1LU:

CVS Falkirk AGM 2019: TWO WEEKS TO GO

Local organisations only have 2 WEEKS left to note their attendance at our 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM). Our AGM takes place on Thursday 21st November 2019 at St. Francis Xavier Church Hall (across from Morrison’s Petrol Station), 1 Hope Street, Falkirk, FK1 5AT. Registration, food and refreshments will be available from 1:30pm, with the AGM starting at 2pm. Please advise us if you have any dietary requirements.

Scottish Ambulance Service Mental Health Strategy Survey

The Scottish Ambulance Service is currently developing a 10 year Mental Health Strategy, and would like to hear what is important to people in Scotland regarding its contents. To do this, they have launched an online survey to inform their new strategy, and are working in partnership with See Me to find out what people would like to see included. As the Scottish Ambulance Service can be used by anyone, they are keen to hear from as many people as possible. The deadline for responses is Wednesday 13th November.

KSC Bank Support Worker Vacancies

Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) are currently recruiting bank Support Workers in Falkirk and the surrounding areas. The position is £9 per hour (plus holiday premium), with various shifts as required. Applicants should be flexible, upbeat, confident and energetic, with a full driving license and the use of a car, though this is not essential; successful candidates will be subject to a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check. The deadline for applications is 12pm on Friday 29th November.

Neighbourhood Networks Peer Support Worker Vacancy

Neighbourhood Networks is currently recruiting a Peer Support Worker. The position is 16 hours per week, with a wage of £9.44 per hour, based around Denny. The successful candidate will support the development of local networks, ensuring members are supported to achieve positive life outcomes and lead the life they choose. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 19th November.
