As part of last week’s No Smoking Day (Thursday 14th March 2024), NHS Forth Valley announced a renewed focus on treating tobacco dependence in Falkirk. Arguing that you are more likely to successfully quit smoking with help and support, they highlighted those methods of support which are freely available within the Forth Valley – namely the Falkirk Quit Your Way service, or through Community Pharmacies. Whether you’re ready to stop, or just beginning to think about it, the NHS Forth Valley – Stop Smoking Service is there to help.
Stop Smoking Advisors provide free treatment and local support in Clackmannanshire, Stirling, and Falkirk. Support is offered in a variety of ways including: a 12 week programme aimed at reducing nicotine dependency, face to face clinics, telephone and text support, ‘near me’ consultations, and much more.
