First4Kids are a Falkirk based charity delivering School Age Childcare in the area. They cater for children from 14 of the Falkirk Primary Schools with after school clubs and holiday clubs. They are looking for motivated staff that have a dynamic sense of wanting the best for the children in their care. They are a progressive service and encourage all children to participate in decision-making and planning. They are always looking for the next area to improve and develop innovative ways to provide a wide variety of experiences for children. Current vacancies:

Co-ordinator (20 hrs per week, all year) – must be a qualified practitioner (£11.90 per hour)

Co-ordinator’s are responsible for running the out-of-school-care sessions by ensuring children are safe, happy, and having fun. They will be passionate about empowering children and the staff team they work with.

Playworker (19 hrs per week and supply posts) (£10.45 – £11.32, based on experience and qualifications)

Playworker’s support the children and the Co-ordinator with planning, organising, consulting, discussing, and playing.

Both of these posts are key to First4Kids’ delivery of their quality service to families. They work directly with the children and their families, and must be committed to the quality that they strive to provide for the children who spend time at their clubs.

Applicants must register with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a practitioner in the day care of children. The posts are subject to satisfactory PVG checks and references.
