Falkirk and District Association for Mental Health (FDAMH) have a Training Academy, which provides training to third sector organisations, individuals, businesses, the statutory sector, education and students.
They currently have the following training available:
- Understanding Hording Workshop – Monday 24th October 2016
Aiming to deliver better outcomes for clients who are struggling with Hoarding Disorder. £52 per person, training lasting 3 hours.
- Boundaries Workshop – Tuesday 27th September and Monday 21st November 2016
Making sure your staff, volunteers and clients have constructive, safe relationships. £52 per person, training lasting 3 hours.
- Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid – Wednesday 2nd and Wednesday 9th November 2016
Improving your knowledge and understanding of Mental Health, and gaining the skills to provide initial help. £92 per person, training lasts 2 days.
- Understanding Self-Harm – Monday 14th November 2016.
For anyone wishing to broaden their knowledge of self-harming, or who is involved with someone who self-harms and wishes to offer them support. £52 per person, training lasting 3 hours.
