Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH) are delighted to have been awarded new funding to recruit a qualified counsellor or therapist to join their well-established Counselling Service.
Job role: Counsellor/Therapist working with young people, aged 13+ & Parent/Guardians
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours/week
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Contract: One-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extended funding
The successful applicant will provide counselling to young people from the ages of 13-18 and their parents/guardians/caregivers, on an individual basis. The role is a hybrid working model, delivering face to face counselling from FDAMH’s building and remote working (Zoom) to suit the needs of individual clients as required.
If you are qualified to Diploma level in a Counselling therapeutic discipline, with membership of a professional body (COSCA, BACP, BABCP etc) and have experience of counselling people ages 13 years old and over we would love to hear from you. FDAMH will accept applications from all counselling modalities, e.g. humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT or integrative approach.
