Our team at CVS Falkirk would like to extend our thanks to all who attended any of Falkirk’s Third Sector Forums this year. We hope we can build on our achievements from 2019 and promote the voice of the third sector locally.

Volunteer Scotland Disclosure and PVG Online Training Sessions

In January, February and March, Volunteer Scotland is holding regular, short online training courses on all aspects of their Disclosure Services, aiming to provide information the various aspects of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme that attendees may need for their role in their voluntary organisation. These sessions are free for voluntary organisations; however there are charges for non-attendance of booked sessions.

Kingdom Support and Care Local Support Worker Vacancies

Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) is currently recruiting for Support Worker posts in Falkirk, Slamannan. and the surrounding areas. The deadline for applications is Monday 22 February 2021.

Neighbourhood Networks Community Living Worker Vacancies

Neighbourhood Networks is currently recruiting for 3 Community Living Workers, based in the Grangemouth/Bo’ness, Denny, and Falkirk/Larbert areas. The positions are 16 hours per week, with a wage of £10.01 per hour (£19,519.50 (pro-rata) per annum). The deadline for applications is 12pm on Monday 29th January.

Forth Valley COVID-19 Partnership: Funding Programme Open

The Forth Valley COVID-19 Partnership has launched a new grants programme, distributing funds to support communities and people affected by COVID-19 outside of hospital. The new Community Partnership Grants Programme will distribute £126,000 of local grants, and is open to any registered charity, community interest company (CIC), community or voluntary group with a bank account delivering services in the Forth Valley area. The closing date for Phase One is Monday 1st February.
