Applications are now open for the School Holiday Food Fund, which has been set up to support local projects tackling food insecurity in Falkirk communities. Applications for the Fund will be for food and activities during the October 2021 school holidays.
Groups can apply for up to £500. The aim of the fund is to support local organisations help improve the wellbeing of children and young people during the school holidays, especially those who may have particular wellbeing needs.
Third sector groups and organisations wishing to apply must be constituted; voluntary organisations who are constituted or have a governing document are also welcome to apply (documents must be submitted with the application). Additionally, applicants are required to have a Child Protection Policy, and must ensure staff are appropriately recruited and checked.
Decisions on applications will be made by members of the Fairer Falkirk Partnership (part of Falkirk Community Planning Partnership).
The deadline for applications is Monday 11th October.
