A collection of aid for refugees will take place in Falkirk Trinity Church Hall on Saturday 16th April, 10am – 3pm. Donations will be distributed by Re-Act, a local humanitarian organisation responding directly to the current crisis.
All donations should be clean and bagged by category. Donations of winter and summer clothing, shoes and toiletries would be particularly appreciated, including, but not limited to:
- Jumpers and fleeces
- Tops and t-shirts
- Trousers
- Jackets
- Waterproof clothing
- New underwear and socks
- Thermals
- Hats, gloves and scarves
- Babygrows, vests and snowsuits
- Boots
- Nappies and baby wipes
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- Groundsheets
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
Shoes should be paired together with tape and marked with their European size.
Set up by volunteers, Re-Act has delivered over 500 tonnes of aid to affected refugee camps in Europe and beyond.
