Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is preparing to refresh its 3 year Strategic Plan, with an online survey which asks local people to assess the current challenges and future priorities which they believe should be included in the new plan.
Falkirk HSCP delivers adult health and social care services within the Falkirk and District communities, with its Integration Joint Board (IJB) outlining how these services should be developed.
The Strategic Plan establishes priority areas for focus and development, setting out how services will improve the health outcomes and lives of people who live in the Falkirk area.
The current HSCP Strategic Plan (linked for your convenience) initially covered the period from 2019 – 2022, and has been extended until 2023 due to the impact of the pandemic on services.
The 2023 – 2026 Strategic Plan is at a very early stage of development, starting with the online public survey mentioned above, which Falkirk HSCP is keen to be an opportunity for local people to shape the future of local services. Following on from the survey, Falkirk HSCP will provide other ways for local people to inform what should be in the new plan, including in-person sessions. A draft plan will be produced, approved by Falkirk’s IJB, and then put out again for final consultation.
The process is designed to involve colleagues, partners, and members of the community at every stage, and to “sense check” against the range of views received before the implementation period begins in the 2023/24 financial year.
The deadline for responses to the online survey is Friday 14th October.
