Ahead of Homecare Day 2022, Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is holding drop-in recruitment roadshow events for anyone considering a career in care, on:
- Wednesday 21st September at Grangemouth Town Hall, FK3 8AN
- Thursday 22nd September at Bo’ness Town Hall, EH51 9NJ
- Friday 23rd September at Greenpark Community Education Centre, Polmont, FK2 0PZ
All drop-in events take place 10am – 4pm. Falkirk HSCP is looking for a number of people to join their services and help support people in their communities; Falkirk’s home care team will be available during the events to discuss a range of roles, the application process, and training opportunities.
As part of their employment with Falkirk Council, Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership will support members of the home care team to gain a qualification in health and social care (SVQ Level 2); new recruits will also gain and maintain a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership.
Positions are available within a range of services, including day care support, mental health, mobile emergency care, reablement, or social care. These roles in care can provide experience to gain entry to other professions, such as social work, nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy, amongst others.
For further information, please attend one of the events listed above, or visit the Falkirk HSCP website.
